Where I Am Licensed to Practice
I am currently licensed to provide psychotherapy only in the State of Texas. Therapy services through Rubber Duck Therapy are therefore limited to clients who are physically located in Texas at the time psychotherapy services are provided, unless and until I obtain lawful authority to practice in another jurisdiction.
If you are outside Texas, an introductory discussion may still be used to determine whether the practice is an appropriate resource, but it does not authorize me to provide psychotherapy in a jurisdiction where I am not licensed or otherwise legally permitted to practice.
About professional titles
Academic degrees and professional training describe education; they do not replace or expand the scope of a professional license. References to marriage and family therapy education, CBT-informed work, sex and intimacy training, or Gottman Method training describe education and therapeutic orientation and should not be read as a claim of a separate Texas license or certification unless expressly stated.
